What happened to daily calendar view on new Outlook?

I started using the new Outlook yesterday and it mirrored my current Outlook which was great. My current Outlook, in order from left to right, has my folders, inbox, reading pane, and daily calendar on the far right. Now this morning the daily calendar on the far right is missing. I have been all over the app and cannot locate where I have the option to add it back to the view. I see where I can modify the reading panes but that is it. Help?

    Yes, I understand how to see the calendar/agenda, but it covers up my reading pane, which I find inconvenient. I will continue to use the old outlook so that I can see my calendar/agenda AND read emails at the same time, unless someone can tell me how to have the calendar/agenda NEXT TO the reading pane; not on top of...

    This was killing me. Thank you for sharing this.

    Do you by any chance know how to make (Show Navigation Pane) smaller like the old version?

    For example, My pane is open, but it takes up a good portion of the left screen. In the previous version, I was able to click on the Pin to make it smaller and only show my favorites.

    Hovering over the calendar icon does not show the calendar or give the option to dock in new outlook

    Go to the upper right-hand corner of your new Outlook and click on the "MyDay" button to dock the peek.
