How Can I Import a Calendar in the New Outlook for Windows (Business)?

I need to share a calendar over Outlook with a lot of individuals. In the old Outlook, you used to be able to import the calendar.

Now, there is an error message and it won't let you import a calendar, as shown below:

Some individuals might have the old Outlook, some might have the new version, but it is not reasonable to request that everyone switch back to the old version of Outlook just to download a calendar.

Is there a new way to import calendars in the new Outlook for Windows (Business)? We have Microsoft 365, FYI.

New Outlook does not have a File tab. If you want to import a calendar ics file, do it from the calendar module.

    It's almost entertaining how Microsoft can have thousands of employees and yet they cannot make the calendars sync between old and new outlook. I can see why Apple takes so much of their business. Come on all you lazy pos employees fix this issue. It is useless as it stands.

    EXACTLY!!!!!! I can't believe all the previous functionality that is no longer available in the so called "NEW" Outlook. I cannot even print out a single calendar event like I used to. I cannot assign different colors to calendar events to differentiate them based upon their purpose. The list goes on and on. But my biggest gripe is still not being able to import my old calendar. I NEEDED MY OLD CALENDER EVENTS FOR MY JOB!!!!! I now have to go back and forth between two computers, one with the old Outlook and one with the new. It's obvious MS will never resolve these issues! They just don't give a rat's ass about their customers needs. It's all about how much profit they can make regardless if their product is crap. Too bad I am so Microsoft connected otherwise I would transition to Apple. I f-ing hate Microsoft with a passion for so many reasons other than just this Outlook problem.

    If you received an email with the event in an .ics file, click on that file and there will be a choice to add it, but select calendar new. If you did not receive this in an email, ask the company, doctors office, etc. to send the event or invite .ics file. That was the only way I could import the event/invite. When I right clicked the downloaded .ics file to one of my folder and chose the "open with", "outlook new", and then opened my calendar in the new outlook, it would show the file but would not let me chose which calendar (I have four) to import it to. Yes Microsoft, please fix!!

    This did not worked in my case. But it worked properly in old outlook. Is it the New outlook is BETA version? Not the complete.
