Configuring preferences and options in Outlook.com
They are no longer QUICK actions. Some bored ***hole at MS who probably doesn't use outlook came up with this change.
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
The Quick Action Icons (Delete, Move, Mark Unread) have moved - they were originally next to the SENDER Name, now they are on the far right (after the received time column) - how can I move them back to the original position ?
See image - they are at the GREEN arrow, I want them back at the RED arrow.

Mine changed today. Was using email, left it for a while, came back and it was changed to this new layout.
Hopefully it is just a bug in the release because it makes no sense at all.
Why!!!???
I'm hoping with you, this "new" layout stinks!
Unfortunately using a private browser window makes no difference. The issue just appeared one day last week. Same problem on any computer and any operating system (Windows 7 - 10). Occurs with any Browser (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and Mozilla).
It seems to be something to do with Hotmail - is there some way to move columns around in the settings on Hotmail ??
