Confirm that the phone number is formatted correctly, including the area code and country code. The message could be unable to be sent by Outlook if the phone number is not in the proper format.

It's possible that certain email addresses aren't configured to send texts. If this functionality is available and whether you need to enable it, ask your email provider.

If you are having trouble sending text messages from Outlook, there can be a short-term problem with the email server. Retry after waiting for a while.

I would advise waiting 24 hours before trying again if you receive a notification stating that you have made too many tries. Additionally, try switching your web browser.

This could happen after too many failed attempts; Microsoft is definitely restricting your IP address or device (or both). You must utilize a totally different device, such as a phone or laptop.

Now all you need to do is follow the same steps to unblock your account after giving some amount of time to your account and everything will be up and running.

if you are having this problem with your microsoft hotmail, live or outlook account on your PC suspending your account because you replied to a message that microsoft identified as spam even though it wasn't spam & it asking you to verify your phone number & then it tells you that number can not be contacted.

this is what I did on my windows 10 PC.

clear your cache

log-in to outlook.com

when it asks you to verify through an email address look to the bottom of the window, chose Sign in using a different method, chose send test message to ####
add the 4 numbers, you'll get a code.

i had to read 1,500 messages on this site which were all 100% unhelpful, especially the one from Janbaz Salehi who told me to log into the account that "i was locked out of" & told to ad my phone number "to the account that I could not log into"

I solved my problem by similar way. I tried to logon to my account by using my Samsung phone's browser.

Забудь про свою учетную запись на 1 день и займись чем-нибудь другим, а на следующий день проведи стандартную процедуру входа. (Не пытайся входить в свою учетную запись, если вошел, придется ждать дольше).

Я был удивлен, когда не увидел ошибку. (если код не придет, нажми на кнопку "код не пришел" и жди. Код прилетит на твой телефон моментально).

Лично я не входил в свою учетную запись около двух дней из-за того, что я был не дома.

Ответь, если сработало/не сработало. Я такой же пользователь, у которого ни один вариант не работал.
