I like the new look for new outlook, but the problem I am having is that you cannot use drag and drop feature. I don't want to download all the content because I deal with heavy amount of invoices. I hope this is great feedback for Microsoft and get raised attention and get quickly implemented. Hope to get a quick response and help. Thanks for the support!

Any update on this? It's been almost a year now, and I am still having this same issue that was reported by so many others. Can we expect something to be done about it, or do I just need to keep using the old verision of Outlook?

Microsoft needs to prioritize this request and work on pushing this feature in the upcoming release. This is a major part of the Information Governance strategy that we develop with our clients where we educate and train them on the best use case for using the right components within M365 to achieve better compliance and productivity. This is by moving records or long-term business productivity information in the email to one of the group repositories like SharePoint or Teams for long-term storage preservation, retention, and group collaboration. Users are not going to buy in if every time they have to toggle the 'New Outlook' button to drag emails or attachments that they want to move to the group areas. For some clients, the option to switch to the previous version may not be even available if it is pushed to everyone's throat via GPO

Drop and drag is such a prominent and well-used feature - I have no idea how this wasn't a "must" when designing and testing the new version. As this original question is almost a year old, what are MS's plans to fix this before all of our companies force us to switch to the new platform? This is crazy.

Been trying the new UI. If people have solutions, please let me know.

    • Can't drag-drop an email onto the Contact icon to add as a new contact.
    • With multiple calendars enabled no tab control to indicate which calendar you are working with.
    • Previous contact page much easier to edit contact info.
    • Limited ability to adjust delayed sending on emails. Previous version allowed you to create a rule for the Outbox. I used 2 minutes. New version only allows up to 10 seconds and emails are in the Drafts folder along with stored drafts, no Outbox.
    • Text formatting (font) doesn't always change all selected text.
    • Can't find a way to add Print to ribbon/QuickSteps.
