I like the new look for new outlook, but the problem I am having is that you cannot use drag and drop feature. I don't want to download all the content because I deal with heavy amount of invoices. I hope this is great feedback for Microsoft and get raised attention and get quickly implemented. Hope to get a quick response and help. Thanks for the support!

Why is this still an issue? You still cannot drag attachments out of outlook onto the desktop. This response is from over 2 years ago and still no resolution? This is a basic user feature. Will this ever be added back into outlook?

Apparently Microsoft doesn't care enough about their product users to actually do something useful for us. They just want to take our money and hope, over time, we'll get tired of complaining and just shut up about the idiocy they're doing with their products.

Still no fix for this? it's super frustrating and soon we won't be able to go back to the old Outlook ... honestly this is major oversight together with the horrid function that shows an email's related messages (I want to see one email at a time!!!). This product is not ready at all.

As a person that worked in IT for a couple of decades, we aren't whining like children, we are expressing our opinions on a product that shouldn't be forcibly pushed out to users as a preview (and, from the comments on several forums, it has already been pushed out as the only option in some places).

Also, I have a disability and some software changes make living with a disability more difficult. I truly wish software designers would ask people with different disabilities what would help them before making changes as many times they are indeed going backwards. If they incorporated more ability to change things instead of making them static, they have the potential for becoming a true friend of those that are differently 'abled'.

Thank you for your comment and for helping to reassure those of us that rely on the drag-and-drop feature.

Almost a year since the original request and Microsoft's reply that 'this isn't currently available' - it would seem, given the time elapsed, that there is no intention on MS's part to include this much-needed feature otherwise we would have seen something by now. Please tell me this is not so!
