"New" Outlook: Add Shared Mailbox to Favorites

Hi,

I manage 3 mailboxes at work and made the mistake of switching to the new Outlook a bit early [my toggle to switch back is gone?] and it's totally messed up my workflow. I was able to find my shared mailboxes after several back and forth with my IT department. Now I need to add the inboxes of those shared mailboxes to my "Favorites" list so I don't have to scroll down constantly to work those accounts.

When I right click on the shared inbox there is no option to "Show in favorites" and I get the circle crossed out when I try to drag them into favorites. Also, in the Favorites folder when I click "Add to Favorites" it brings up something wonky, and mailbox folders don't appear to be an option.

Can anyone tell me how show these shared account folders in my favorites?

    Sadly, that would contribute to the massive number of emails I don't want to respond to. It was in a SHARED mailbox because multiple people monitor that account so that I don't have to deal with it.

    Are we back to the "good old days" when Microsoft had two Dev teams? One wrote good operating systems and software and the other wrote Windows ME.

    Oh, wow. July 🤦🏽‍♂️😿. So, another 6 months of extremely poor productivity!

    Extremely frustrating.

    I have had to set up a rule from some of my critical Shared Mailboxes, to forward emails to my primary account. This ensures that I do not miss emails.

    This is one of the features that is holding me back. The interface looks good, but I will need to manage 2 shared inboxed and the fact that you can't edit the favourites is not boding well for the Web client approach.

    They could have given pined folders, as I have a lot of folders that I probably should simplify. I suppose this will cover the users that don't use more than one email and are not a heavy user. But outlook should have some power user features.

    I'm with you. Same version as poster but there's no way to add any of my shared mailbox folders to my favorites (in particular interest the "inbox" of mailboxes under "Shared with me".)

    Now if I ADD the account to Outlook the inboxes appear but for some reason I can't seem to add the one account I need the most. It just throws an error. I thought I read somewhere that licensing on the target account was the problem but I haven't found that info since.

    REGARDLESS I still can't move email messages from one in-box to the other. We use a help desk software that monitors an exchange mailbox. In Original outlook when someone emails our team and we need to create a ticket from the email, we drag it into the Inbox the help desk software is monitoring. That's still not a function in New Outlook.

    Are you sure? I don't see this behavour.
