On June 22 I received an email from "Microsoft Outlook.com", specifically: "Admin Desk • ******@live.ca" stating: "We are closing all old versions of our Mailbox as from June 23rd, Please follow the attached below to update .
Before upgrading your account, please ensure that your password is correct.
Failure to verify your account with the Microsoft Update Attached File."
Please tell me if this is legitimate?! Thank you.

Coincidently, even though I changed my password earlier (with your link), I just received a notification from BlackBerry Hub to update my email password. Is this ok to do?
In my downloads file, the download has a red "page icon" and states: ******@hotmail.com.shtml

Yes that would be okay. To keep your account active, you only need to sign in to the account at least once in a one-year period.
Thank you Raech. I just did it. I keep this account as my main one and do not log in each time to access emails when I get notifications. Is this ok?
What was the type of attachment was included on the email? Was it just a PDF file? Did it download the attachment to your device?
