No they didn't. It was quiet, for a while, now it's starting back up for me.

Last week, my personal Outlook email started getting ~50 spam emails per day. I barely ever use this email address, so I am not sure how or why this began to happen. How can I stop all of this spam from getting to my inbox?
I have been flagging all of the emails as spam, but it doesn't seem to be stopping the influx of emails I am getting.

I have been receiving between 300 - 500 spam emails a day. Received in three different traunches. Original messages were being sent from various universities regarding subscription services. The most group of emails appear to be coming from Poland. I haven't opened them. Impsossible to Block them since you have to do so individually.
Hi Kathy, yes it is doable without too much effort. I wish you luck, it should slow down but I think Microsoft is largely to blame for allowing this to happen!
I would be thrilled with only 20 a day!
The enormous amount of spam I received in early February has tapered off a lot, but I am still getting maybe 20 a day, at one point I got over 1200 in a little over an hour!
