My Outlook inbox is suddenly getting a ton of spam and I don't know how to stop it

What you're asking cannot be done here. They have automated spam filters and if they fail, you're getting a lot of SPAM in your inbox.

With rules, you're at least doing a setup that blocks most of them. Not a solution but better than manually deleting tons of spam.

I'm not happy with this either.

You can try making some rules. The SPAM i received had more or less the same keywords, so i made a rule (settings-> mail -> rule) that checks for subject includes and message body includes the spam words and in action select to move them on junk folder and make them read (or delete them). I prefer to have them on junk folder so i can check for false positives.

Hope this helps a bit.

The point is to block completely those spams, to receive the sender a message from his/her mail host as undelivered. To not even come to my email. Not to go even to spam or deleted folder.

In the original post some people are missing the point of just one word "suddenly". This has suddenly become a problem because of something done by Microsoft.....so how about they "suddenly" reverse it??????

I'm not talking dear to you in the tone of angry. I am writing to Microsoft in the tone of angry hopping that they are reading this forum.
I already had a live chat with a member of support of Microsoft for these endless spams and asked me to send to an email address she wrote me the source of 2 or 3 emails of those spams which I did.
