My Outlook inbox is suddenly getting a ton of spam and I don't know how to stop it

Last week, my personal Outlook email started getting ~50 spam emails per day. I barely ever use this email address, so I am not sure how or why this began to happen. How can I stop all of this spam from getting to my inbox?

I have been flagging all of the emails as spam, but it doesn't seem to be stopping the influx of emails I am getting.

And we can only guess which one of your emails has made it to the mass email lists that are out there.

It's pretty humorous how some think they are entitled to a spam free email account. I bet you all also go to your local post office and demand that you no longer receive junk mail in your physical mailbox as well! Protest signs too I bet!

Well, if you are so disappointed over some spam maybe it's time to get rid of your Hotmail account and stick to the other 3.

Here's instructions on closing your account. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/how-to-close-your-microsoft-account-c1b2d13f-4de6-6e1b-4a31-d9d668849979

A piece of advice, don't use those other 3 anywhere on the internet as one day they too will make it to the spammers mass email lists.
