My Outlook App won't open. I'm receiving notifications that I'm getting new mail and I can read the first couple of lines (in the notification ) but if I want to open the email to read the who thing by double clicking on it the email tries to open through the app and this crashes. To resolve this, I've already updated all the apps on my phone, rebooted the phone twice (once with a full reset). I have then tried to uninstall the outlook app and reinstall it but it says you need to deactivate the app first and you can't do this. I've also checked that the rest of the MS apps are working (word / excel etc) and they seem to be opening fine
Not sure how to resolve this issue as I didn't realise how much I read my emails on my phone until this glitch happened!

I also have this problem with my A13's in that are company managed, tried turning mobile data off and the app didnt crash.
Then I turned it back on and it crashed again and i havent been able to get it fixed, so now turning off data doesnt work anymore.
Our phones are brand new replacements so they currently only have wifi and no SIMs so it isn't down to mobile data.
The same issue is being discussed on microsoft tech community.
A couple of people raised a case with samsung & microsoft trying to find solution.
They suggested that the problem is only when data is on, but in my case the problem remains even when data is off.
It is the third time I have this issue. Twice it happened last year after the 2 global whatsapp outages. I thought it was connected somehow, but maybe it was a coincidence.
Anyway, I found the fix last time. It was by unistalling the latest updates of 'Android System Webview'.
I tried to do it again but did not work out this time.
We are well into day 4 of v 4.2243.1 not working. Plenty of people posting on the Microsoft feedback site. No idea how that is meant to work but lots of people complaining, mixed in with other people asking for nice-to-have changes to things.
No response from Microsoft and no idea how we get anyone at Microsoft to sit up, take notice and actually do anything. We are just messaging into a void. which is utterly useless.
