Outlook App on Android keeps crashing when trying to open an email

My Outlook App won't open. I'm receiving notifications that I'm getting new mail and I can read the first couple of lines (in the notification ) but if I want to open the email to read the who thing by double clicking on it the email tries to open through the app and this crashes. To resolve this, I've already updated all the apps on my phone, rebooted the phone twice (once with a full reset). I have then tried to uninstall the outlook app and reinstall it but it says you need to deactivate the app first and you can't do this. I've also checked that the rest of the MS apps are working (word / excel etc) and they seem to be opening fine

Not sure how to resolve this issue as I didn't realise how much I read my emails on my phone until this glitch happened!

I hope you wonderful community can explain what's happening and how to resolve it

    That is exactly what is happening on our A13 phones. 

    We use new A13 Samsungs and Outlook is crashing on all of them on startup. Teams, Word etc all work.

    We use Intune MDM for our work phones. Saw another post that suggested that the A13-02 model was the one with the issue and just released A13-03 models are not affected. Unfortunately we had preordered 100 A13s as we are migrating MDM systems and getting rid of older Samsungs

    Have noticed today that the app on the Play Store has changed it's "updated to" date to 16th Nov from 10th Nov, but it has the exact same version number.

    Unsure if this means our MDM will see it as a different version and roll the updated app out or not. Confusing AF

    Well it worked for 24 hours and now it's not. Below expectations for a top 100 company, that needs some competition to sharpen them up.

    If you're using an MDM you just need to wait for the fix to be released by Microsoft. If you have standalone devices or use a co-managed enrolment method, you may get away with using the app version from the Galaxy store.
