How do I move to next email from an open email? Little arrows have disappeared

How do I move to the next email when I am in an open email? I used to have two little arrows (for up and down) to scroll up and down open emails, but they disappeared. Now if I want to go from one open email to the next one, I first have to close that email and then open the next one.

If I press PageUp or PageDown or any arrows, it just scrolls INSIDE the open email. I'd like to move from one open email to the next open email (I used to do that with the little arrow icons that appeared when an email was open).

Can someone help, please?

    I just tried it and it worked for me, though annoying since a simple click is better. I'm also bummed that I can't simply click a little icon in an email line to Pin etc either. Now I have to right click to pick up the choice and then click on the choice...more steps is inefficient.

    There should be a QUICK fix, because we all are having this same problem, something change in an UPDATE, that removed the arrow, that I use to go to next email in line, or EVEN back to the previous email. AND; I suggest that these formats have the Solution up at top of this discussion, when many are having the same problem that just recently Appeared. Thanks

    It works on mine, but I prefer the arrows. WHY did they disappear?

    This doesn't work. You must have set up some personalized function.

    I have tried most keys with Ctrl, both at the same time and one after the other. I have also tried AltGr and period/comma/+/-. I have also tried Alt and period/comma/+/-.

    I wish I could communicate with Microsoft and ask them to reinsert the little arrows
