Shared Outlook calendar shows wrong timezone in Google calendar. Timezone when importing a shared Outlook calendar is wrong. When importing the link to the Google Calendar, the shared calendar settings says that the timezone is GMT+00:00 -- It's grayed out and I cannot change it. How can I correct this issue?

A solution that worked for me:
I have added a second time zone (UTC) Universal Time Coordinated to outook. Then when I share the calendar with ics link in google calendar it works perfectly.
Thank you, this worked for me also, now the time zone in Google is the same as the source calendar from Outlook.
I'm still having this issue. It's SO frustrating. It was working for a while but just broke again.

the Exchange ics does contain TZ data.
the question is now who doesn't adhere to the standard? MS or Google? I'd say Google has the better track history, but I did not check it in this case

in particular, I found it useful to create a brand new calendar in Google Calendar, that I named "Outlook" as in the tutorial, which I synched with my outlook calendar. This way I could verify that the events were indeed imported correctly and compare with my not-synched calendar in a non-distructive way. Once I verified that everything worked as it should, I hid the unsynched/not-working calendar and kept the new "Outlook" one that worked properly
