Hi All
I'm loving the new Outlook, however I'm having real difficulty manually sorting my email folders.
Clicking & dragging the folder, only allows me to drop the folder INTO another folder, but doesn't allow me to drop it in between other folders (meaning I cannot re-arrange / sort the folders manually).
Right clicking the folder and clicking "Move", again only allows me to move the folder INTO another folder. There is no "move up or down" option unfortunately.
It is currently sorting my folders in alphabetical order, but I wish to change this. I have been through all the settings and cannot find anywhere I can manually sort my email folders.
Can anyone assist?
Thank you
Thomas

When adding a folder, which contains other sub-folders, to favorites - the sub-folders don't apper in the favorites.
This makes working with the new outlook very uncomfortable.
I agree with the need to add these basic features back into Outlook. It is so clunky as it is now. This request needs to be bumped up constantly.
Also, I would like to be able to have my separate inboxes back so I can see when emails come in to my different shared accounts. I HATE how my inboxes are now "shared with me" sub-folders that I have to constantly click into to see if I received mail!! And the "favorites" work around won't work for this b/c the folder I want to favorite is an inbox. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!
I was just unexpectedly pushed onto New Outlook this morning and this is still an issue. Commenting to bump it up in priority. I need to be able to sort folders and would also love to be able to delete some folders that I never use (such as Notes and Conversation History).
This is still an issue. One year later. I have submitted Feedback, as suggested by the Microsoft Agent.
