All hotmail / outlook Junk mail coming to inbox ?

Despite these emails still saying they are classed as junk. This has suddenly started today.

I've cleared my cache and deleted all in junk box.

Can't find any settings in junk mail other than safe senders list .

Thanks, Darren

In my Hotmail/Outlook.com I have it set to receive mail from Contact's only for many years and today it stopped working. Getting nearly 100+ phishing attempts per hour!

Microsoft at least acknowledge the issue.

@Sajjad747 your instructions are worthless! The issue is at the "server" end not the webmail client settings. Had you actually read the posts you might understand that.

Exactly!!! I had that same setting and it stopped working!!! Hundreds of phishing attempts emails today!!

Please Microsoft, fix this before we all move to Gmail

This is happening to me as well.

It also happened to me a few months ago and I was able to contact someone at Microsoft who told me that this was on their end and they need to fix the server. This did resolve the problem until today.

I hope they do this soon. I do have a gmail account but have preferred Hotmail's interface. Not sure it is worth it

Hi Sajjad, thanks for trying to assist.

It's still happening, all day! Sounds like it's the same for many others aswell.

My junk email settings don't seem to have the high or low settings.

It just has blacked sender list, a safe senders list and 2 filter boxes for trusted and block attachments (already ticked both)

When do you expect to get the junk mail filter / server fixed?

    Regards,

Exactly the same issue here; junk, spam and phishing emails coming through straight to inbox. It matters not what I do as they still come through. I’ve refined my safe senders list, but to no avail.

One phishing email stated that it was going to log-out all Microsoft/Hotmail/Outlook etc. related account devices, leaving the impression there maybe a correlation with the hackers responsible.

Iv’e naturally changed my account password, however this issue seems beyond that and part of something bigger.
