I was having an issue figuring out how the spell check worked. My coworker said when you are in a New Message window, and the Message tab, at the top far right of the ribbon, click the "..." and go down to Editor, and then Editor Settings.

At first, when I tried this, Editor was greyed out, but it might have been because I was already in the middle of composing an email. When I opened a new message I was able to get to the Editor Settings.

All the settings were already enabled, but it seemed I had to open the Editor settings at least once for it to "activate" Now spell check works in my Outlook.

Right-clicking a misspelled word won't work. You have to left-click the word to see the spell-check suggestions.

    i did the same. it worked for a few days and another update took out the fix.

    So bad why are these basic things missing. I just got a macbook and I don´t have to deal with all this weird stuff anymore. I hopped on my windows laptop to send an email and had to go down a rabbit hole of trying to figure this out and there is still no solution.

    It is ridiculous that MS has deployed this app without including spellcheck (Avery basic feature in today’s technology. The app recognizes misspelled words and notes them for you but not linked to dictionary when you know they have it for Outlook, Word, Edge, etc. From post thread this has been ongoing for over a year with no resolution. I switched late in 2023 & very sorry. At this point, I’m done with it!
