I was having an issue figuring out how the spell check worked. My coworker said when you are in a New Message window, and the Message tab, at the top far right of the ribbon, click the "..." and go down to Editor, and then Editor Settings.

At first, when I tried this, Editor was greyed out, but it might have been because I was already in the middle of composing an email. When I opened a new message I was able to get to the Editor Settings.

All the settings were already enabled, but it seemed I had to open the Editor settings at least once for it to "activate" Now spell check works in my Outlook.

Right-clicking a misspelled word won't work. You have to left-click the word to see the spell-check suggestions.

    In reference to this doc, (New Outlook for Windows Preview (office.com)) Rich editing, spelling, and auto complete suggestions powered by Microsoft Editor were automatically added to the New Outlook version. There is no specific setting to turn this on. We do apologize if we are not able to meet your requirements.

    Same for my organization.

    Once someone has gone into trial this, it's so non functional they can't use it.
    But there is no revert, and we had to push a fresh re-install to go back.

    I know how to enable spell check in the new outlook email. I have installed Mail then now use the new outlook email and calendars. I love it but one thing I messed up was going thru settings and stopped the grammar and spell check suggestions.

    I turned off settings in the privacy and data under General settings. When you turn off "Turn on experiences that analyze your content" and "Turn on experiences that download online content" your spell check on the left mouse click is turned off. The red underline tells you the word is mis spelled but no correction with these two settings turned off. The settings were by default turned on so I re did this and this worked. It could be just one of the settings but returning to original is what I did. Hope this helps every one.
