New Outlook - Auto Capitalization

I have switched over to the "New Outlook" and some functions did not switch over also. How do I turn on the auto capitalization of the 1st word of a sentence? How do I turn back on auto capitalizing the letter i? Thank you for any help!!!!

    Yes but you will have to do that over again typing a new email.

    this is truly one of the biggest reasons why i use outlook. if it can't be fixed soon, then i will probably remove outlook.

    This year is 2024, we have GPTs and discussing about AGIs and AI is generating videos that you cannot distinguish if it is real or not.

    And we are talking about the capitalization of letters after full stop.

    I keep trying the new Outlook, but the functionality really is letting it down. No capitalisation, a rigmarole for attaching files and photos - really, this needs to be addressed if you want people to use the new outlook more

    I agree... it seems all the windows software is going the route of over simplifying everything in exchange for little to no real world functionality... they have dropped the ball on this... Its still not fixed in 2024...

    I have spent hours trying to figure out how to capitalize the first letter of a sentence. this is ridiculous!

    I had to stop using Outlook App b/c my company email goes through Gmail and they don't mesh at all...I thought this was the answer.

    And now i see it's been going on for months!! We aren't in the 80's anymore, using typewriters. Get it together Microsoft!!
