I have switched over to the "New Outlook" and some functions did not switch over also. How do I turn on the auto capitalization of the 1st word of a sentence? How do I turn back on auto capitalizing the letter i? Thank you for any help!!!!

Thanks! I recall seeing that - didn't even try because I assumed it would apply to just that email. I see it does not - the setting remains in effect. I actually wanted to disable automatic capitalization for a new line as I did with Word. Glad to see this can be accomplished, but I still don't see why in the world this setting got moved/changed big time.

Thanks for the tip. Maybe it's not as bad as I thought. But - I can't find Options. Looked on top, tried Settings first, then searched on Options, Editor. Also tried in Help. Maybe I'm missing something really obvious but it seemed much easier to get what was needed before.

Looks like this feature is moved under the editor setting now. Hit the Editor button at top under Options. Then select open editor. Then Customer your Editor. Check Microsoft Editor Settings Enable auto Correct and Enable Auto capitalization. Mine were both set to off after the latest update to outlook.
