New Outlook - Auto Capitalization

I have switched over to the "New Outlook" and some functions did not switch over also. How do I turn on the auto capitalization of the 1st word of a sentence? How do I turn back on auto capitalizing the letter i? Thank you for any help!!!!

    I started another thread (Can we get someone to look at the Auto-Capitalize on the New Outlook - Microsoft Community)

    And a mod has linked me this page.. Things to look forward to in the new Outlook for Windows - Microsoft Community Hub posted in November.

    So seems auto-capitalize will be coming back sooner or later (hopefully sooner).

    Yes sir! Will not use the new Outlook until this is fixed. To be sure, this is the epitome of a "first-world problem", but it seems so easy to solve and makes work life so much easier.

    Any update on the posters issue? Has this been escalated? 60+ replies and over 150 others "having the same issue" in this one thread alone, and there are multiple threads about this.

    Auto-Capitalize needs to come back, Sentence Case is not an alternative, users are switching back to the old Outlook because of this.

    You know it's bad when you switch your mom over to the new Outlook and the first thing she says is why doesn't it auto capitalize.

    this response does not solve the problem at all. do you have any understanding of how people work? did m$ do any kind of ui testing before it released such a defective product.

    but this is why we should be moving AWAY from these horrible companies products.
