Outlook App opening a browser Tab

While using the Outlook App on Windows 10, Creating a new event in Calendar, and ONLY when selecting Invite Attendees button, Outlook will open a tab in my browser that does nothing but have the outlook logo.

    I'm curious as well. My Outlook Desktop opens a new online login in a browser window every time I go to an Inbox in another mailbox. We deal with many domains so constantly switching mailboxes and this is one annoying issue.

    Hello, we are also experiencing this in our organization - when opening a series meeting from the outlook calendar a browser window will open. Users have no access to OWA. Another user experiencing this while modifying information in a meeting invite on the calendar a browser window will open after saving the changes.

    Any Updates Microsoft?
