Task bar moved from bottom of screen to the side of screen (I can not figure out how to fix this)

How do I move the task bar (has apps: mail, tasks, calendar, etc.) back to the bottom of the screen? Is this called the task bar? I can't figure out how to restore the settings. See picture.

    In the top right of the screen, you can turn off Coming Soon to get the navigation bar back to the bottom.

    The new left rail that you are seeing will be the default soon so if you can make it work, please try and use it in the new location. This article explains the direction and rationale, New location for key functions and direct access to other Microsoft 365 apps in Outlook (office.com).

    I use a monitor in at 90 degrees in portrait mode for my outlook. This change of a couple of nested buttons at the bottom to using an entire vertical bar thus crunching my already limited From, Subject, Received fields is not a welcome addition. It's a waste of my monitor space. Please make this change a one that can be reverted back to normal.

    This is unacceptable. There are 5 Icons on this bar and it now takes up the entire left side of my screen. It means I have to choose between seeing incomplete senders, dates received or Subject lines. What is the point of this?
