Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
The solution (for now):
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
How do I move the task bar (has apps: mail, tasks, calendar, etc.) back to the bottom of the screen? Is this called the task bar? I can't figure out how to restore the settings. See picture.

I am reading these instructions only 11 days after your comment that this worked. I went ahead and followed the steps to get to a dead end as under Advanced Options the "Show Apps in Outlook" is no longer available. I am fuming.
Well, I came in to work very early this morning and found this dreadful change to the Outlook toolbar. I even called our company's IT, of course, to no avail, since Microsoft had the most inane idea of changing the position to a "galaxy far, far away". This extra move to find the icons, especially when I am preparing call schedules, clinic schedules, when I go back an forth between emails and calendars, is more than annoying: it is a waste of time. I know that Microsoft will not do anything even if we revolt because they even took away the option for changing the view to its previous version. Needless to say, I am not a happy customer. I will stick to Apple on my personal devices; however, I spend more time at work than on personal time.
Thank-you so much for this. I was losing my mind and cursing microforce horribly on this blessed Christmas Eve.
Merry Christmas to you and yours. Best, gdgiii
Completely par for the course in my opinion of how Microsoft (Microforce) has been functioning.
I detest many features that are now forced on us the end user - THE PAYING END USER.
I cannot even find the 'coming soon' button now. I have been using Microsoft for 23.8 years and it is a nuisance application.
I wish this would change. - gdgiii
