Task bar moved from bottom of screen to the side of screen (I can not figure out how to fix this)

How do I move the task bar (has apps: mail, tasks, calendar, etc.) back to the bottom of the screen? Is this called the task bar? I can't figure out how to restore the settings. See picture.

2022-08-11T12:59:21+00:00 I think it's ridiculous that you took our option to have the tasks on the bottom away completely rather than simply FORCING us to have it on the left!! It looks awful and it's inconvenient. If you want to give people options that's fine, but MAKING us do it "your way" is idiotic. This was a bad move on Microsoft's part. Thanks for inconveniencing a LOT of people...it's unappreciated!

2022-08-03T08:48:37+00:00 This idea sucks, if you want to make changes to the UI then ask people if they like what you're proposing, or at the very least give them the option to change where they feel their task bars are most comfortably placed rather than being forced to accept what you dictate; it's a sure fire way of driving customers away.

2022-04-07T14:30:48+00:00 In the top right of the screen, you can turn off Coming Soon to get the navigation bar back to the bottom.
The new left rail that you are seeing will be the default soon so if you can make it work, please try and use it in the new location. This article explains the direction and rationale, New location for key functions and direct access to other Microsoft 365 apps in Outlook (office.com).
