Please advise where I can find File and other toolbars such as Insert, Reference, etc in Outlook?. Currently I'm only seeing Home, View and Help toolbars.

Thank you,

Tina

Its going to be a good long time before that app replaces Outlook desktop. It will replace windows mail at some point in the future (I don't know when... but will guess maybe the fall?)

The new Outlook is lacking too many features business users need.

There is no difference as to the actual Outlook Pre software- its the same if you have the toggle or not. If at least one account in the Outlook profile isn't supported in the new outlook, the toggle shouldn't be shown.

Getting started with the new Outlook for Windows - Microsoft Support

If you get the new Outlook from the windows store, it wont have the toggle.

It's possible to hide the toggle using a registry key -

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Options\General
    DWORD: HideNewOutlookToggle
    Value: 1

If you don't have the choice of the good Outlook when you search for outlook (as seen in my screenshot), the good Outlook is here -

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE

    or

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE

Open it and pin to start menu and taskbar.

    Hi Tina Šimunić

Thank you for getting back and for providing that information.

Since you have a business license on Microsoft 365, I will move this thread to the business category. In this way, the experts who support Office products for business will be able to provide more information on how to resolve the issue. As much as I'd love to help, it's beyond my expertise as I've only been trained on personal accounts/licenses. We want you to get the answers you need to solve your problems. Please wait for the next expert to answer your question.

    We appreciate your understanding.

    Sincerely
