New outlook not showing total email count in each folder on windows application

I switched to the new outlook and it is no longer showing the total number of emails in each folder.

    I don't know why people are seeing different things. I use outlook.live.com for my mail. Here is an edited image of what I see when I access my mail. When I hover over the count, I can see the total number of mail I have in my inbox. I can do the same with my other folders. It didn't used to be that way for me.

    I completely agree. My comment was sarcastic. I tried replying to the Microsoft guy but he doesn't seem to read this thread.

    No it is not resolved. I would vote to keep it open and let people continue to voice their opinion until Microsoft listens about a feature they removed for no logical reason?

    Appears you have to hover over the mailbox to determine this. #dislike!

    This does not work for me in Outlook window app, nothing comes up on hover and no context menu option.
