Quick actions - location changed in inbox?

Hi,

Starting today, the location of the Quick Actions has moved in the Inbox message list. They had been located between the Sender name and Subject for each message but now have moved to the far right side of the screen, which I find cumbersome to use.

Does anyone know of a way to change the location of the columns in Outlook.com or at least the location of these? The only thing I see in Settings is the ability to toggle on/off the various Quick Actions themselves (e.g. Pin, Categorize, Delete, etc.)

    The change is awful - moving between folders on the left and quick actions that are now all the way on the right is horrible on a large monitor.

    Bad bad UI design (design 101 here, keep frequent options close together and reduce clicks/movement, don't increase them) - please make this a toggle-able option at least.

    Hello ReynaldoB,

    Thanks for your reply.  My concern is the new location for the “Quick Actions” icons next to each item on a message list like the Inbox. 

    They had been located between the Sender name and Subject for each message but now have moved to the far right side of the screen, which I find cumbersome to use. [See image below]    

    It was far easier to move quickly through a list to delete, etc with the Quick Actions in the longstanding/original location.   Is it possible for me to customize the column layouts so I can move them back to their original placement ?

    To answer the rest of your questions:

    • My email domain is @hotmail.com…but the web address is outlook.com
    • I’ve tried on Edge, Chrome, and Firefox and same issue exists on all.

    I agree!!!! Who thought this would be a good idea?!!!! And, why was this done automatically, without providing users with the option to leave things as they were?!!!!

    I've consulted our internal team about this case and it appears that this is a feature change on the website(Outlook.com), but according to the source we have they are waiting for customer's reactions and this is the best time for you to send a direct feedback through Outlook.com website. To do that please follow this steps below.

    1. Login to https://outlook.live.com/
    2. Inside your account, click on the question mark(?) at the upper right corner then navigate Feedback at the bottom of the page.
