Access Denied in New Outlook

I am using the New Outlook and when I log in and click on a message and try to view it, I get an access denied message. Yesterday, I was told that I had to log in but I wasn't given that option. Today, I just get an access denied message with no log in recommendation.

I am an Office 365 Home subscriber, using Windows 10. I can get my Outlook messages by loading Outlook through Office 265.

That's because you don't use Sleep and/or Hibernation and WiFi connection (which can take a pair of secs to reconnect after you turned PC on). If you have cabled network only and/or you just Shutdown and (Re)boot Windows every time to turn your PC on/off, you won't see the bug. Try from a laptop with WiFi in your network and you'll see...

Now I did not understand your comment at all!

I don't have cabled network. I have a laptop with a WiFi connection that works perfectly normally.

Sleep mode and hibernation work normally for me.

I also don't understand what “bug” you mean and where?

Serious question: Why do you think it is a good idea that someone else decides what is important to you or not ?

Please, read my comment again – I didn't say that at all!

I have used the "old" Outlook (= Outlook Classic) daily for 12 years. I also have (paid) Microsoft 365 Office Outlook. Neither of these have the good, new features I described as important on my NEW Outlook.

So... no one else decides what is important to me – I decide it myself based on my long user experience.

For quite a while now, I have not seen any Access Denied problems with Outlook anymore.

In fact, I am even quite happy with it, compared to the previous mail app. For instance, searching very old mails now works!

I haven't encountered any ACCESS DENIED error or a repetitive / pointless SIGN IN request in my NEW Outlook for a long time either.🤔

    **I agree!**👍

    1. The search features of it are now really good and efficient
    2. I also think that the possibility to mark an important received email right at the beginning is a good feature😁
