Outlook External Email Tag

Hello Everyone,

I have an employee that opened a ticket with my help desk about his Outlook Desktop Application. Yesterday he noticed an "External" tag that appeared on his inbox in front of the Sender. Is this a new Outlook feature or is there a way to remove this tag from view. Our organization already has a tag inside the email warning employee's of the external/internal status of the email.

Other users including myself do not see this in their Desktop Apps, we do see it in the Online Version of Outlook though.

    Thank you! I too had added back my original From field so I could sort by sender but had it minimized to the left of my new MyFrom field. Moving it to the right to get rid of the External tag is genious! Thank you!

    But this will only remove the existing external tags right? New external emails will still come in with the external tag?
