Outlook External Email Tag

Hello Everyone,

I have an employee that opened a ticket with my help desk about his Outlook Desktop Application. Yesterday he noticed an "External" tag that appeared on his inbox in front of the Sender. Is this a new Outlook feature or is there a way to remove this tag from view. Our organization already has a tag inside the email warning employee's of the external/internal status of the email.

Other users including myself do not see this in their Desktop Apps, we do see it in the Online Version of Outlook though.

    By right clicking on the "MyFrom" field it allows you to sort

    Fantastic! Works great. Thanks so much. When the icon was EXT it was ok but when it changed to EXTERNAL it was too much. Workaround works great

    Odd side effect here: When I create the new field, if I simply add it to my view without deleting the original 'From' column, placing it to the left of the From column, "External" disappears from the original column?

    Hi De paul,

    I have the external tag in the subject line and thats fine but how do get it to stop tagging on replies?

    during replies we get multiple external tag depending on how long is the email string .
