Hi there!
I use Outlook for work and would like to view my work Outlook calendar on my personal Google calendar. I published my Outlook calendar to my Google calendar using the ICS link as instructed. This worked! However, any new or changed events to my Outlook calendar do not refresh on my Google calendar.
Is there a way for changes to my Outlook calendar to reflect on my Google calendar?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Brandon

Hi Tammy - I have set up syncing for my Outlook calendar with my Google Calendar as detailed above. However, it appears the Outlook.com ICS link is a snapshot in time and does not capture updates after the ICS link is copied. If I recopy the ICS link and set it up in Google again, the new updates are then viewable, but automatic synchronization is not occurring as it should. Can you advise how to correct this issue?
Excellent reply thanks for this. I think for the time being I'll do as you have done and primarily rely on Google cal. I think the problem for many is that it is an intermittent fault and one you can't afford to have. Thanks again much appreciated @TG001AT.
Hi - I am having the same issue as Brandon. As he mentioned, we have already successfully gone through the steps of adding a new calendar via ICS URL. The issue is that now when a calendar event in Outlook gets updated or added, those updates do not reflect in the Google Calendar. For example, a meeting I was supposed to have today got moved to Friday, however the Google Calendar still shows the meeting has happening today even though I've accepted the updated meeting invite in Outlook.
Any advice on how to fix this sync issue would be appreciated as it's very frustrating and I haven't been able to find a straight answer in any Q&A forum.
I was having this issue as well. My Google calendar had been syncing with my Outlook calendar and then stopped a couple of weeks ago. Go into your Google calendar and hit the three lines on the top left. Scroll down and see if your Outlook calendar is listed underneath your gmail account address below Events, Tasks and Reminders. If it is, you should be able to select it and then your Outlook events should show up on your Google calendar. Hope that helps!
This is also happening to me for some time. I tried numerous times over the last year following various suggestions, I could not make it work. So, I primarily rely on google rather than outlook calendar. Although I still have to use outlook for work.
Thanks,
Hi I've the same issue. Some appts from my hotmail calendar are sync'd correctly. Others display as being 8-10hours into the future. What is the solution to this issue?
Thanks
