My Facebook was hacked and the email address changed without my consent. How do I get it back?

My Facebook was hacked, and the email address was changed to s*****************@hotmail.com and my original two email addresses were deleted from the Profil. How can you help me to log in again, or find out the email address that’s being used for MY Facebook account, so that I can gain it back or take legal actions against the hacker???

Hi, so getting my account back wasn’t that easy. I had to send in my ID twice, to verify it’s me. Trying to log in from a browser that I had precise used helped. While it took some time for them to actually send me a verification code, the hacker put down a second email address. I was able to remove them once I got access again.

I went to the forgot my password page when logging in and clicked no longer have access to these, then I was asked for my ID & I believe to describe the reason for verification. It took like 4 or 5 days to get back into it the account and set up two factor verification, but the sending in my ID & proving it’s me was the way to go, as there’s no direct way of contacting Facebook with this issue.

    Hello everyone,

    I feel so sorry for everyone that has their account hacked/stolen on Facebook, I wish I could help, but sadly I am not.
    For now my Facebook account is in accessible, last i logged onto with my phone and pc, the next day nothing was working anymore.

    Now I've been searching for about 2 weeks now, day in day out to look for solutions.
    I think i know the Facebook help section like the back of my hand, gets me nowhere, It's like talking to a wall or walking on a roundabout forever.

    For over about 12 years, i have used the same email address, and suddenly Facebook does not find any accounts associated with it.
    My phone number USED to be connected to it, but not anymore, except for on the new account.

    The email = s************@hotmail.com - there is no way to find out what it could be.
    I am running a Facebook group with over 10k members in it, worked on it for 12 years, i even have a prof page linked to it, with MY phone number and MY email on it.
    The page has been created with my main account and still i can't find an option to get control back of my Facebook account true the page, the help section, or just whatever YouTube videos…

    So i am really getting depressed over this, hopefully someone reads this an can point me in the right direction.

    I would like to take a moment to say thanks to everyone posting solutions to try to help everyone and, @ Don for being professional on this topic while this has nothing to do with Microsoft.

    Hi everyone, I had the same situation with a hacked account. The password was changed, and my e-mail address and phone number were removed. I've been trying to somehow recover my profile for a week, but without success.

    I found a guy through a friend who managed to get my account back. I don't know how he managed it, he just asked me to give him an email address that was inserted instead of mine. He charged for his service of course but it was worth it and not expensive.

    Do you have the guys information? And how much? I found 3people but 1 turned out to be fake I think the other 1 has a couple of red flags and the 3rd still trying to figure out if he's legit. It's really ridiculous what you have to go through to get this account recovered

    Hi Wayne,

    I'm in this exact same boat and devastated. Going around in circles trying to regain my account but seems impossible as hacker has changed all emails etc. Have you had any success? Any tips?
