Hi,

I have been receiving an email about resetting my Microsoft password so far today i received 6 messages with the code to reset. This email has not been open in awhile, however i do have it linked to my phone for easy accessibility to emails.  How do i get the emails to stop.

I actually discovered today, while double checking my security settings and changing my password, that the recovery email and recovery phone number are actually displayed on the settings page, they're not partially hidden at all. Which would explain why it's so easy to send reset codes. This is something that microsoft needs to fix ASAP.

I have the same issue.  Just this past week it seems to have started.  I've gotten roughly seven emails in the past day.  The requests are all coming from out of the country.  If we could select "Prevent login attempts from outside X location" it would help and prevent this issue.  The logins are coming mainly from China and Vietnam.

I really advice Microsoft to add this password reset email into the account activity overview including the feature we have on other suspicious activities. Then at least it becomes less interesting for those executing these attempts.
