In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox. Is there a way to get it back?

Please add the total email count back to the New Outlook App for Mac. This seems like a simple fix and feature to have on the application. It is a necessary tool for those that like managing their inbox.
I agree - please bring back the total number of emails in the bottom footer. That is clutch for many of us and it is greatly missed.
Friendly tip for those using the latest version of Outlook for Mac but want to go back to the old version... You can still go back to the old version by deselecting the checkbox where it says "New Outlook" located under the "Outlook" menu at the top left of the screen. This will flip you back to the old version again. See the picture in this post:
Still not fixed in 2022 - This is poor.
I understand if you guys don't want it as standard, but put a toggle in the settings to turn it back on.
There is no justification for removing this, it's a vital tool for inbox management.
Please bring back the number of messages ("Items" count) to the new Outlook theme.
