How do I remove the Teams meeting link from a calendar invite?!

I purposefully made sure that it was not toggled on. It is for an external meeting so we have to use zoom instead of teams as everyone doesn't have access to teams. When I made an edit to the attendee list it automatically added in a Teams link. I can't remove it and I've searched and searched for a way to remove it. Please help!

Hello Jane,

You can simply click on the Description field and press Ctrl + A to select and then delete Teams meeting link, then use the Zoom meeting Add-ins to insert a link for Zoom meeting and click Send, when the attendees receive the updated meeting invitation email, this meeting will display as a Zoom meeting rather than Teams meeting on their calendar.     I'm having this same issue a year later. I deleted the Teams information from the Outlook calendar invite, and then replace it with Zoom details. However, when someone sees their reminder that the meeting is starting and they hit "join" it takes them to the Teams meeting, NOT the updated Zoom meeting.

    I still have not found out how to get the "join teams Meeting" to go away. Sending out the same invite a second time to get it to go away seems completely unprofessional.

    Hi Jennifer,

    I am also having the same problem. I removed the Teams link from adding from the settings, but the invite has already been sent and I am not able to remove it. I did add the Zoom link through outlook, but this still did not remove the Teams link that is embedded in the meeting. e.g. you have Teams the "join online" button. This creates a lot of confusion especially if the meeting is large and resending it creates confusion.
