Outlook 365 not opening in Windows 11

I noticed that Outlook did not open automatically in Windows 11 like it should when I rebooted, so I tried to start it manually. That didn't work either. Not even running "outlook /safe" worked.

Am I missing something here?

    Hi Owen, I feel the same way, every time it does it I have to completely sign off when I do a screen pops up and says Outlook is trying to sign off, close anyway? I say yes. it signs off I sign in back on and it works again for whatever time if feels like it until next time which is closer together than before. good luck! I can't deal with their support; it drives me nuts so I will have to deal with the issue.

    Why can't I open my outlook intermittently it works often but at least once or twice a week it goes out for hours or even a day. I am tired of paying for something that doesn't work too often for me.

    Thanks for all the comments. The problem/solution was actually a lot simpler than I thought. The problem was Outlook had not (completely) closed. I found the icon hidden in the System Tray on the right side of the Task Bar. Once I was able to completely close the program it opened right up. So the reason it wasn't opening was because it was still partially open or closed.

    I went ahead and created a new profile and moved everything over to the new profile and reinstalled Office 365. All works now like it is supposed to.

    There seems to be a problem with the latest (insider) update.

    Thanks for the hint. Indeed I uses the inside channel. Switching back to the release channel fixed my problem!
