Managing personal Outlook.com account settings, security, and privacy
Hi, I feel like I'm getting closer continuously call the 365 Office Service / Tech Support Number: 866-425-4816. Keep good notes of who you speak with and when. I'm waiting for 2 different people to get back to me. Not holding my breath. If they don't give me a positive resolution by Monday, I'm taking legal action. I got them to admit I wasn’t hacked, and they claim I did something to violate Mother Microsoft's Code of Conduct. The ONLY possible thing I did they could take issue with is a FUNNY email I forwarded to two of my best friends several days prior. It was an old video clip of a CBS interview with one of our politicians contradicting his current views. Imagine that. It was funny. A JOKE. I guess Microsoft’s PC police only allow jokes that involve the party they favor.
It was not illegal, violate of threatening to anyone. It was a JOKE amongst friends. I had no idea Microsoft could punish someone so severely over a joke. I’ve been paying for 365 Office for 11 years. They have 20 years of family photos, all my personal contacts, personal/team/school calendars, 15 years of tax documentation, tons of misc. documents and all my saved email that I desperately need for coaching. 770 Gigs.
Every email sent to me over the last 5 weeks is sitting in an inbox I’m locked out of. They won’t release of forward them. At this point I’d rather they reject my mail. At least people will know I haven’t received it. This is not my email account for newsletters, subscriptions, shopping, etc. This is the account I only give to family, friends, schools and the players/parents I coach.
My point to all this is - Microsoft’s penalty against me is not warranted. To permanently LOCK me out of my entire digital life is way too severe. No warning. I am guilty of TRUSTING Microsoft. Now I’m spending a ridiculous amount of time rebuilding my data and battling them to get it back.
