I'm getting a few codes minute for the last hour or so.  I've checked to see if someone was accessing my account and there was no evidence of it.  I'm receiving texts from a handful of numbers and i don't want to block them in since i do need to get verification code from time to time, and the number i get the code from varies.

Hi BenjaminDau,

If you're receiving unsolicited verification codes, this means that someone is trying to login your account and unable to pass the verification process. Kindly see the suggestions provided in this article on how to keep your Microsoft account safe and secure.

    I am repeatedly receiving verification codes which I haven’t asked for. These are in Chinese I think.

    For example;

    使用验证码 708475 进行 Microsoft 身份验证。

    I am in the UK and my Microsoft account is linked to the UK company I work for.

    I would be grateful if you could look into this please.

    Thank you.

    Same here. Getting about 1 sms in Chinese per hour for two days now. Had to turn off my phone.

    The verification codes are NOT for this account tho, I don't think, because I changed the password to this account and there are no failed login attempts listed.

    I don't know which account is being hacked. I checked all accounts I remember and could not find another one linked to my phone number.

    Hi there, I am receiving unsolicited verification messages from Microsoft in Chinese. I fear someone may be trying to access my account. What would be the best course of action to stop this?
