I'm getting a few codes minute for the last hour or so.  I've checked to see if someone was accessing my account and there was no evidence of it.  I'm receiving texts from a handful of numbers and i don't want to block them in since i do need to get verification code from time to time, and the number i get the code from varies.

Hi BenjaminDau,

If you're receiving unsolicited verification codes, this means that someone is trying to login your account and unable to pass the verification process. Kindly see the suggestions provided in this article on how to keep your Microsoft account safe and secure.

Hi , i have got a message from Authentication App and said someone request to log in outlook account. And  i am sure it is not me.

    I rejected the request.

Is it safe enough or i need to something else to keep my account safer.

    Thank you.

I've removed all known data from Microsoft. I also removed every device from my account and logged out of everything Microsoft touches. set up authenticator to only use that to approve access. my phone number and known emails have been completely removed. Set up a new email address that has never been used... set it up just a few minutes ago with no backup info.

No old data is stored with Microsoft at all now... I logged back in in incognito only on this device with new random email and my only option was the authenticator (no text option came up for this valid login attempt)

I showed no unauthorized attempts to access my account

    Still getting texts with codes.

Could it be that our phone numbers themselves have been compromised?

Verification codes are being sent every 2 to 4 minutes
