Account Locked through Violation of Microsoft terms

No.  They didnt bother just locked years of family history - no explanation just a link to the terms of using their system.

I've had the exactly same issue, word for word, mine been going on for nearly a year, with still no joy, complaining to the UK ICO, but as you say, no one will touch a case against them.

I then go though the whole process to verify it with my cellphone number and a code that gets generated and it is unblocked/verified and then working again.

A week later and it happens again.

I have tried to make contact with someone at outlook to understand why this keeps happening but I only get to that AI app thing that is not intelligent at all. it is actually embarrassing that that is your means of providing technical support. That AI bot is useless.

Also nowhere can i find a customer support email address. Therefor I am writing here.

Could someone please explain to me why I keep on getting blocked for "unusual activity"? I do not use the thing for spam, send very little mails from it to one customer etc. But still on a regular basis get kicked out? It is really annoying to unblock it the whole time.

Could someone other than a bot assist please. (My account is in my Outlook App on y laptop and my Samsung S9 phone)

I am the latest victim, my account been locked since 28th November 2020. I have been directed to many channels to write in one after another.

At least 5 cases raised with one case Microsoft even shamefully replied that case been closed and ask for my rating.

I am stuck as an office 365 subscriber, my excel and words cannot be updated into the onedrive, shared onedrive been disrupted and personal vault been locked out.

Did anyone managed to get it resolve?

They're not going to unlock your account. They will tell you that it doesn't matter HOW the info got on your phone, just that it was on your phone and you then uploaded it to One Drive, thereby violating Microsoft's TOS. Ergo, they will tell you that your account is in violation and they "properly" locked your account and they will NOT give it back or unlock it. So you have just lost everything that they locked which sounds like your Xbox, One Drive, etc. Anything associated with your email and phone. LOTS of people are apparently going through this and have complained here. There are quite a few threads already existing here talking about the situation.

I think a lot of people mainly samsung users like me have had their accounts locked over pictures because samsung are closing their own cloud service. It's mad they don't give you a second chance seeing how majority of people don't read the rules surrounding pictures on onedrive because onedrive is the last place anyone would put pictures.
