Just started getting Russian women and male body part emails in my inbox. I used to have exclusive setting checked. Where in the heck did that go??? I see that in 2013 lots of people had issues with unwanted spam in their inboxes. They were told to set exclusive settting. I really wish Microsoft would quit pushing me to go to gmail!

Same here. It started 2 days ago. I hate it!!!
I am experiencing the same issues. I just updated this setting and hope it helps. 10 new spam messages came into my inbox as I was making this update.
I am going to move any and all uses of this email to something else and work to close this email account. This is ridiculous. The number of spam emails has increased exponentially over the past few months and now they are dumping directly into my inbox? What a complete nuisance.
Hi Claudia,
It's in Outlook.com's settings: Settings (gear icon) > View all Outlook settings > Junk email - at the very bottom.
https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/options/mail/ju...
IT. DOESN'T. WORK. ANY. MORE.
Many people are posting on their facebook page. hopefully they will listen
I'm having the same problem. It started January 18. I talked with Tech Support and have both boxes in settings checked for the junk mail. The emails are still coming. All of the emails have the same domain -- vertical-aff.com.
I get them from that domain too but others as well.
I also did a search for that domain and see emails going back to the 10th, but they only started sneaking through today.
Some of the <cough>Independent Advisors<cough> here claim to have contacted support and that they are aware of it, but I have yet to see an official announcement on social media by Microsoft.
Even those IAs that claim the issue is known, tweets from MicrosoftHelps still don't respond like they do: https://twitter.com/MicrosoftHelps/status/1218938541784403968
One IA DID provide a method to contacting support, which is a "+" for them. Basically click on the "?"/Help in Outlook on the web, then search for something like "spam", then click "Yes" at the bottom for "Still need help?" and go from there.
Props to that IA for their diligence, though I would disagree with some other stuff in that same post.
And for anyone who may wonder who these IAs are, if it's anything like Google, they are basically regular moe's like you and I.
I was "recruited" by Google after posting about an issue in their forum probably a few years ago, and they mentioned the <cough>benefits<cough> by joining as one of them.
They're essentially glorified moderators, but don't get me wrong there are a handful that know their stuff, but a lot more that are of no help.
It's weird that they even would've wanted me given my social mannerisms which is usually frowned upon. They must've only looked at a response that was short and clear and to the point. Yeah, I know what I'm doing and I'm good at it, but no you don't want me interacting with the "normal" public.
They're going to be fine for "normal" folks who are technically inept, but when it comes to actual system issues on the company's end, they have basically no pull.
Just got another one (another different domain) while composing this.
