Just started getting Russian women and male body part emails in my inbox.  I used to have exclusive setting checked.  Where in the heck did that go???  I see that in 2013 lots of people had issues with unwanted spam in their inboxes.  They were told to set exclusive settting.  I really wish Microsoft would quit pushing me to go to gmail!

Same issue here.  All of the sudden, after 20 years of working, my junk filter no longer works.  Everything is going to my inbox and with that triggering notifications galore.  I had to turn off my notifications in response to the avalanche of junk mails that are now going straight to my inbox.

I'm having the same problem.  It started January 18.  I talked with Tech Support and have both boxes in settings checked for the junk mail.  The emails are still coming.   All of the emails have the same domain  -- vertical-aff.com.

Thanks. Will give that a try. I have an enormous need to know why this happens all of a sudden for many users . Any ideas or even a guess?

Another person here that also had their filters stop working yesterday.  Made no changes to my settings and now have 100+ junk mails in my inbox.  It appears that most of them are from a vertical-aff.com and also included a red balloon along with random characters.  I saw a post that suggested that if you're getting lots of junk mail from just a single domain that you can add them to your safe list, then create a rule that will delete everything from that domain.  Sounds completely counter intuitive, but the rules won't run on emails that "goto" your junk folder.  I haven't gotten a junk mail for the last 15min, (I was getting a ton every couple of min) so hopefully that will keep my inbox clean for now.

I saw another person this morning with the same complaint. I'll pass the info along to my support contacts - it sounds like the junk mail filter has failed.
