Using Outlook for Android in business environments for email and scheduling
Mine is opening in the Samsung browser

Hi, I noticed that all my links in my Android Outlook app open in an in build browser instead of the app, (such as youtube) This is really frustrating as I have to do other steps to find the option to 'Open in browser' so it then opens in the youtube app. This is for all links amazon, twitter etc.
Is there any way to disable this option? I am unable to find it in settings withtin the app.
Thanks

Mine is opening in the Samsung browser
It is not an isolated incident
it is an on purpose design change by microsoft to use their own browser from outlook
there is no way to change that default, the new browser is part of outlook not a selection of the android system.
The only way to get around it is to swipe down to the "open in browser" button on the bottom of the link that it opens up in outlook

Not sure how to fix it. I know I didn't even have the toggle until I got version 4.2044.3 set it to open in browser, my default is Samsung browser which is chrome I think, and it just worked.
I don't know about the other email apps but I think outlook will work. I had to search the play store a couple times because it looked like I had the newest version but by searching using other search words, (outlook, office 365, Microsoft outlook), I forget which search found yet a newer version but now I have version 4.2044.3 and there is a toggle to open in browser.
