Outlook for Android opening links in internal browser

Hi, I noticed that all my links in my Android Outlook app open in an in build browser instead of the app, (such as youtube) This is really frustrating as I have to do other steps to find the option to 'Open in browser' so it then opens in the youtube app. This is for all links amazon, twitter etc.

Is there any way to disable this option? I am unable to find it in settings withtin the app.

Thanks

I found that screen (under "Default Apps"), thanks for the pointer. It looks like all the 3rd-party apps I'm having issues with (Outlook embedded browser not redirecting) are set properly to open their own native links - presume Outlook browser is just ignoring that?!

Interestingly, Chrome is set to "Don't open supporting links" but when I click through any options to change this are greyed-out.

It's a big headache and a completely unwanted feature. It's a prime example of forcing people to use something they don't want to because they don't have any choice. It's also an example of breaking things when they were already right in the first place.

Hello Microsoft Outlook Team, two wrongs don't make a right. Also, just to confirm here, both the wrongs have been done by you.!!

Same problem here.  Really becoming a problem because my wife is not tech savy and doesn't want to complete extra step to get to the web page she is looking for.  When momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy...

Do you have this Instant Apps option in your settings? I've not seen this before. See screenshot.

Thanks for the tips. I've already cleared the cache, had no effect.

I'll try uninstalling / reinstalling when I can face setting up all my accounts again.....!!

Lol! Well, yeah that part was a pain. I have two accounts andq seeYou also have to set up your preferences like the focused inbox. But the good news I've been going strong for almost 2 months now. I hope it works put. I know it would suck to have to change email apps.
