Sent items from Outlook App (iOS) not syncing with IMAP mail server

same issue. have 2 accounts with different hosts.  everything works and syncs fine from Outlook iOS app to Outlook windows client, EXCEPT messages sent from iOS app don't show up in sent folder anywhere else.  nothing has helped.

I have same problem.  In addition one twist: I have 2 accounts - A is for an IMAP mail server and B is Google GMail (not sure if this uses IMAP as well). Now, when I send email from account A (IMAP) to my email address on Google, I see the sent message in account B (Google) and also in GMail. When I send a message from account A anywhere else, it is only in Sent folder in Outlook app, but not in Sent folder on my IMAP server (account A). So somehow Outlook app is putting the sent email in wrong folder/server or not at all.

Same Issue here. Have been replying to messages using Outlook on IPhone for past year. Sometimes messages are sent - sometimes not. Messages do not show up in "sent" folder on desktop. No idea whether the messages are sent at all - since with COVID people are not in the office/ are not responding "immediately" like the old days. As a result - there may be dozens/ hundreds of emails that I have sent from my phone that just never reached their destination... yet they sit in the "sent" folder on my phone. Aggravating - because we use outlook on our desktop machines. Didn't really want to mix/match email clients on our phones and desktops.  

But this situation is unacceptable - and potentially damaging to our business. I am certain that we've lost business because we've sent responses out from our phones but the messages never actually arrived.

The folder was created on macOS mail but I tried it on macOS outlook too with success (it took about 5-7 minutes for it to show up on the iPhone). 

The moved content was not immediately available in all places, again it took some time to start showing up in the mac ( for this drill I was looking at it directly in icloud.com mail, the mail app on macOS and outlook on macOS). It showed up for all of them at about the same rate.

Same problem here, but for those of us that do NOT want to lose all our sent mail on our phones:

The best / easiest way I've found is to go into that "Sent" folder on your iphone, Tap and hold on one message to "Select" it and you will see an option at the top of the screen to "Select All".... Once you do that MOVE THEM to a folder that DOES sync with your IMAP account properly (for me I created a "iOS Sent" folder). Then on the computer move them to the correct sent items folder.

This stinks and I wish they would fix it, hopefully soon!

I’m curious as how you got the content to be visible in a new mailbox folder. I’ve tried moving content to both a new folder and existing folder without success. Maybe there is something in how the folder was created.

What application did you use to create the new folder and was it done on a computer or IOS device?

Assuming you executed the move via IOS Outlook. IOS iPhone or IOS iPad?

Was the moved content immediately visible? Visible on IOS Mail, Mac computer mail, or both?
