Outlook Android App E-Mail Notification Sounds

Can you please fix the Outlook Android App incoming notifications sounds?  Cannot select Outlook E-Mail sound anymore in new sounds.  Outlook EMail and Outlook EMail Sent are both in the sent sounds.  The Outlook sounds got erased from new emails list in a past update and have never been replaced.

    Hi all,

    I had same issue, but

    I FOUND THE SOLUTION!

    It was ridiculously easy... Damn!

    Here the procedure:

    • open Outlook
    • go to settings
    • go to Mail, Notifications
    • go to App icon badges

    Now, under the account, you can tap on Event reminder or Mail. For both you can choose many options, and the second is the NOTIFICATION SOUND! YESSS!!!

    What phone are you using, because there's no such thing as App icon badges following these directions.

    Same Here, Using Samsung S9+ and in the notification menu there are 2 menu items for selection:

    • New Email Sound

          - Behaves wrong, opens the android sound selection menu that does not contain the email outlook sound

    • Sent email Sound

         - Behaves Correctly, and opens the Outlook in app sound select that contains the correct notification sounds...

    Outlook version: 3.0.131 (339)

    Please fix this as i distinguish my notification by the sound they produce, so this is very annoying...

    Definitely not just Chinese phones. I have a Moto G4 Plus and I'm having the same issue, as of the update that just downloaded today, which is 3.0.107.

    Same issue here and I'm using a Pixel 3XL. It's a bug and it resurfaces time and time again. Trying to explain this to the people in the support chat in the app is pretty useless too, as they default to canned responses as IF it's an account problem.

    The recommendation to wipe the app and re-add accounts is insane. I won't keeping wiping my mail app and setting up multiple accounts for something like this. Oddly enough, I have no issues with the app's outgoing mail sound. It's almost as if the update didn't include the new mail sound or some section of the code lost the pointer to it.

    It's a RECURRING PROBLEM MICROSOFT, FIX IT once and for all.

    Thank you for patiently waiting. Upon communicating with our Internal support team, they informed us that it will be best if you'll reach out to our Outlook in-app support team. They will track and provide further assistance regarding your concern. Follow these steps to do so: 

    1. Open the Outlook app.
    2. Click the Ellipsis button. 
    3. Click on the Help icon. 
    4. Select Contact support. 
    5. Type in your concern. Once done, click on the send button.
