The New Outlook is TERRIBLE! !!

The responses from those who monitor Outlook is corporate cute. And expected.

But the new Outlook is so Very Terrible, that those of US who loved and have been a part of Hotmail since it's inception , might be lead to believe that the R&D dept. or hired developer Never used it in their lifetime? ??

This new Outlook is a lazy, pathetic designers attempt to.......do nothing!!

What did you make better??

NOTHING!

What did you screw up??

The easy one glance ability to either read " said email " or delete in up to a 10 email selection at once.
The ability to easily place emails into folders.

Why explain it,..WE all know the new Outlook is a " Microsoft is done with your stupid account....." phase out.

Which in actuality is a shame from a business perspective.

Hotmail, may not be Facebook popular?

But, there ARE many longterm users!!!!!!

Microsoft, you are forcing Your Clientele to depart and sever ties with you.

I left the iPhone world long ago for Samsung / Android.

Why???

Freedom, and elimination of loved apps being manipulated.

Microsoft is creating the Same Problem.

IF, the business is really about money????

And Microsoft " thinks " it needs to change??

Why not do the smart thing.........

Ask your client base what WE like, and what WE think you do well. Then work from there.

But this new Outlook??? Sorry but, IT SUCKS!

I'm so absolutely frustrated with whatever changes Microsoft has done. Seems like a bunch of dummies making the decisions. My ipad wont sync up anymore, I need to use 3 different devices just to get my emails out. Then whats up with all the draft saving??!! I go to my sent folder and emails are just disappearing without me deleting them.... its chaos I HATE IT!!! Get your **** together Microsoft, Ive been using Hotmail now for 20 years and this is the most horrible version ever!!! Things supposed to advance and help us out, not make us angry and frustrated with your service. FIX THE IPAD SYNC at least!!!!

Simply kiss hotmail / Outlook / goodbye as I have done, but slowly! Go to gmx.com and set up a free email. Awesome program, wonderful crisp platform, ability to create folders, great contact list option, EASY to navigate, and also set up auto forwarding etc.

Hey... I agree with all you state.

Even if Microsoft asked for a small charge, many extremely long term users would pay it.

I detest yahoo, I detest gmail (not able to construct and use folders), hate the fact on BOTH that the provider determines where your email goes, whereas apart from scam/ junk in Hotmail it all comes into the Inbox.

Watching Microsoft over years (original 3.14 user), they do this ALL the time.

History: Windows 95 - OK

Windows 98 - Useless

Windows 98 Second Edition - Great

Windows 2000 / Millennium - USELESS

Windows XP - Great

Windows Blista - USELESS

Windows 7 - Great

Windows 8 - USELESS

Windows 10 - Great

hmmmmm..... Going by their history expect their next wave of I.T nerds to F something up

Next Windows version.....? possibly, but look at this USELESS Outlook "version"... (ha ha ha...) as a prequel for their next wave of crap

Suggestion...... Go and set up a free email account with gmx.com

The format and navigation is AWESOME

Folders can be easily constructed, view and used

Easy to set forwarding and similar account settings

Contact list is easy to edit and view

Whoever the brainiacs are behind gmx mail are thinking logically how and where a human would expect and organise information, instead of the useless nerds at Microsoft who are designing crap for the 5% of people who who's brains operate in geek mode only

gmail also is on a par with (gmx)mail dot com. gmail is perfection. outlook to ME is now defunct..literally unviable unuseable , utterly pointless. (ps yes I also remember the ruddyawful Vista..and the brilliant XP. they never learn do they lol

Why did they do away with Windows Live Mail and the best was Outlook Express. So many good programs have been done away with and they call this progress? I loved Outlook Express and I love using Windows Movie Maker and Microsoft Picture It and Microsoft Digital Imaging. Why don't we get choices for our mail and programs we pay for to find out they aren't compatible anymore.
