Outlook 2016 for mac, email reply greys out screen

I am having an issue on Outlook for Mac ver. 15.26.1 running OS Sierra

When I have Outlook in "full screen" mode and an email opened in a window and hit "reply" the entire screen goes semi-grey and when I click anywhere on screen it gets rid of the grey but it minimizes the email window.  I can click on the minimized window to bring it back up and then it's fine, but it's seriously annoying and slows down my efficiency and productivity.  This only happens when I have the email opened in a window and hit "reply".  It does not happen when I just select the email from the inbox and hit reply from the tool bar.  Anyone else having this issue?

    Can you post a screenshot of your autoupdate window ("Help" -> "Check for Updates")?  InsiderFast updates are not limited by geography.

    Do you have 15.29 (161101)?  That was released earlier this week. If you do and you are still seeing this bug, we'll need to investigate.

    Do you have 15.29 (161101)?  That was released earlier this week. If you do and you are still seeing this bug, we'll need to investigate.

    We generally don't pre-announce the dates for updates.  In general if you are on Insiders Fast, you will be the first to get recent updates, followed by Insiders Slow and then production (official release).  However, there is a lead time between when a fix is made and when the update is released.  If a fix doesn't make the cutoff, it would be in the following update.  This means if you are NOT on an Insider release, and a fix just misses the cutoff for a production release, it could take a month for you to get the fix.

    All that being said, if are on Insider Fast, you should update to the latest release that went out earlier this week and see if the fix is there.

    I'm using the Insider Fast Update Mode and I just checked the latest updates manually again, but there was only a OneNote update. And it wasn't fixed again. What's now ?
